Leaving Blue Lagoon and the Farewell Dinner

Image
Leaving Iceland is hard to do because it was so great here. Here we are leaving the Blue Lagoon and the last picture is at the farewell dinner.

Blue Lagoon

This was the best possible event for our last full day in Iceland. The Lagoon is a geothermal pool with seaside water that is known to have a healing affect. Everyone had a silica mask for their face and one free drink. The water was as warm as or maybe warmer than bath water. It was clearly one of the best luxuries I have experienced. I recommend for everyone. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Walking Behind the Waterfall

This was not the most massive waterfall we have seen, but it was very big. It was very wet especially on the sides.

Fwd: Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon - The Diamond Beach

Image
The Glacier Lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving chunks of ice on a black sand beach. We visited the beach and saw that the shards of ice sparkled like diamonds as the lay on the beach.

We all had a chance to hold a big chunk of Glacial ice and to taste a bit of the ice.
